Lillian Osei-Boateng (she/her)

Most recently, Lillian Osei-Boateng served as the Program Manager for the Arts at the Doris Duke Foundation(DDF) in New York, NY. In that capacity, she oversaw the administration of the Doris Duke Artist Awards program and assisted with the supervision of a $15 million grant program focused on organizations and artists in the theater, contemporary dance, jazz, and presenting fields. She joined the Foundation in December of 2005.

Prior to working at DDF, she was the Program Assistant at Fractured Atlas, an arts organization that provides services, resources, and support to independent artists and arts organizations to help them better focus on their creative responsibilities. She has also worked in advertising, writing, and editing for dance and theater magazines.

She holds an M.P.A. specializing in nonprofit management from Baruch College and a B.F.A. from New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, Drama Department, with a minor in journalism. She serves on the Board of Directors for Clubbed Thumb, a theater company that presents and develops emerging playwrights, directors, and producers, and also has served on the New York Advisory Board for The Possibility Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to using the arts to teach young people conflict resolution and leadership skills.
